West Grand Brass Band
https://www.westgrandbrassband.com/
West Grand Brass Band (WGBB) is a group of six independent musicians that combines the brass band tradition with modern musical genres and sounds. Their music takes the form of an ever changing mix of traditional songs, re-imagined covers, and genre-expanding originals that incorporate electronic timbres and effects beyond anything you’d ever expect to hear from a group of horns. Based in the cultural hub of Oakland, California, WGBB prides itself in creating a party wherever they perform, from bars and breweries to weddings and parades. WGBB was formed in the summer of 2015 after the founding members marched together in the Carnaval Parade in San Francisco’s Mission District. They developed their sound while busking at Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA, and now perform at a wide variety of events and venues around the San Francisco Bay Area.

ZjitZjo

Behold ZjitZjo the San Francisco-based misfit musical micro-circus comprised of members of Gooferman, TrashKan Marchink Band (TKMB), Brass2Mouth, Ideateam, and City of Trees Brass Band. Led to a questionable degree by ACME-certified renaissance ape The Klown Boenobo, ZjitZjo takes breaks, glitch, swing hop, reggaeton, ragga, nu funk, hip hop, gypsy/Balkan, rock, cumbia, and whatever else feels zjitsome at the time, and tosses it into an otherworldly, miscalibrated Cuisinart half full of live brass-n-beats to create the signature, whirled-famous ZjitZtorm sound and its complementary bombastic stage show.

STEREO FREAKOUT or SFO (not to be confused with San Francisco International Airport) is a hard-rock/funk group from the SF Bay Area, CA. The band’s inception began in 2007, played it’s first official gig in early 2008, and toured steadily in the greater bay area, surrounding cities, and southern CA until late 2010. SFO has shared the stage with 100’s of bands & played numerous venues, including The Great American Music Hall, DNA Lounge, The Uptown, & the legendary Blake’s on Telegraph. SFO has also played the San Leandro Sausage & Suds Festival in 2009 & 2010, as well as 21st Amendment’s “Augustfest” 2017. The band has gone through numerous incarnations with different musicians influencing their sound until settling on their solid line-up in 2015, featuring a permanent horn-section as well as secondary vocals. “Next Round’s On Me” solidifies the sound of the band – a blend of rock, funk, jazz with odd time-signatures that is reminiscent of the 90’s rock/funk scene with it’s own fresh blend of vocals, harmonies, & lead on sax, trombone, & guitar.
