Headlining DJ set (midnight, main ballroom) at
The 9th Annual Edwardian Ball® Los Angeles
Nigh impossible to describe, but absolutely delightful to experience, The Edwardian Ball is an elegant and whimsical celebration of art, music, theatre, fashion, technology, circus, and the beloved creations of the late, great author and illustrator Edward Gorey.
For the first time in our nine-year history in the southlands, The Edwardian Ball is expanding to two nights! Friday brings our first-ever Edwardian World’s Faire Los Angeles, whilst Saturday presents our Ninth Annual Edwardian Ball Los Angeles. Plus, we are returning to the beautiful, historic Globe Theatre in downtown L.A. with a reduced capacity both nights—more room for comfort and revelry! Further highlights include:
* New environments via three levels of our Edwardian world: The Grand Ballroom, Museum of Wonders, and our all-new Underground Gardens!
* A restyled VIP experience, including limited capacity VIP Mezzanine + 2 luxurious Queen’s Box Balconies.
* Expanded menu of delicious bites from Edward’s Kitchen.
In addition, as many may know, each year we focus on a delightful work from Gorey’s vast bastion of literary delights. For 2018, we are beside ourselves to feature Edward’s one and only choose-your-own-adventure tale: “The Raging Tide: or, The Black Doll’s Imbroglio.” Fortunately for all, our passionate Edwardian community has already determined the course of this boggling tale in a scene-by-scene extravaganza! The chosen narrative will now be scored and choreographed for an original stage performance at the Ball. (See how it unfolded here)
Tickets for our spectacular Ninth Annual Los Angeles season are now on sale. Don’t delay!
